Courvoisier V.S. (Very Special) Cognac is a blend of several crus aged between three and seven years, composed principally of Fins Bois with a balancing hand of Petite Champagne. The fusion of younger and older cognacs gives this bottle a fruity, delicate taste and a bouquet filled with ripe fruit and spring flowers.
A product of the cognac house founded in 1835 by Emile Courvoisier. The Courvoisier Chateau is located in Jarnac, France on the banks of the Charente River about ten miles east of Cognac. Courvoisier Cognac is said to have been the favourite drink of British novelist Charles Dickens.
Appearance: Light gold in colour.
Nose: Bouquet of ripe fruit and spring flowers.
Taste: Apple, pear, peach, light oak and floral with subtle spice on a light and balanced palate.
Finish: Medium length with light pepper.
