About Us
Founded in March 1994 following the privatization of Alberta’s liquor industry, Willow Park Wines & Spirits has been serving Canadians ever since.
Today, we’re proud to be known for something simple: exceptional customer service. With dedicated retail, wholesale, events, and education teams, everything we do is built around helping customers Taste, Learn, and Enjoy.
Our flagship store in Willow Park Village is one of the largest and most unique destinations of its kind in Canada, featuring over 7,000 products across 30,000+ sq. ft. of retail, tasting, and event space.
At the request of the SLGA, Willow Park expanded into Saskatchewan in 2009, opening in Regina as the province’s first private liquor store focused exclusively on special-order products not carried in government stores. That location later transitioned into a full private liquor store and relocated to a 7,000 sq. ft. space in the Grasslands shopping district in 2015.
Willow Park strengthened its Regina presence in March 2023 with the acquisition of the former 12,000 sq. ft. SLGA Normanview location. Following a full renovation, the store celebrated its grand reopening in April 2024 — bringing the Willow Park experience to life in one of the city’s most established retail destinations.
In December 2023, we brought the Willow Park experience to Saskatoon with a 13,000 sq. ft. store designed around what we do best: immersive tasting, learning, and events. The location includes a 1,200 sq. ft. tasting centre complete with a kitchen — built for education, discovery, and unforgettable experiences.
Most recently, we expanded in Alberta with our Edmonton store at the Shoppes at Windermere South. The store opened in April 2025 and spans 6,700 sq. ft., featuring a dedicated tasting room for educational events. It marks Willow Park’s second Alberta location — and our fifth store in Western Canada.
Trusted Experts
Positioning ourselves as Trusted Experts, Willow Park Wines & Spirits was quickly acknowledged as Canada’s authority on all things wine, beer, and spirits related. After purchasing historic bottles from Napa Valley, establishing Canada’s first Bordeaux Futures program, and collecting rare and personalized bottles from producers around the world, our company gained international recognition for our contributions to the liquor industry.

In 2001, we founded The Vintage Fund in order to directly support local charities and organizations. To date, we have raised over $5 million thanks to events, generous donations from our partners, and our successful Willow Park Wines & Spirits Charity Wine Auction. Through the formation of our fund, our continued involvement as sponsors for local events, and frequent in-kind donations, our dedication to the community sets us apart from other retailers.
Willow Park Wines & Spirits has grown into an entrepreneurial success story, and we contribute much of our success to the genuine relationships we have built with our customers, employees, suppliers, and community.
